How can joining USC IISE benefit me?

USC IISE is an association that gives its members access to networking, training, and social events inaccessible to non members. Aside from gaining a network of current and past USC Industrial and Systems Engineers, members get access to international IISE. This gives them the ability to gain knowledge and skills from professionals all over the world in various fields. Joining IISE will give you a network of people all over the globe that will help you both during and after your collegiate years.

What is the time commitment?

 

Aside from two general meetings a year, there is no mandatory time commitment to join IISE. We will hold networking events, workshops, and social gatherings periodically throughout the year, but these are up to members to attend. We will send out information about every event we hold along with an RSVP link, so you never have to worry about not hearing about events!

What is the cost to join USC IISE?

 

International IISE has a student membership of only 37 dollars. After paying this fee, you will gain access to resources that will help you in your job and internship search while also obtaining a large network of people to use as mentors.

How can I join IISE e-board?

 

Each spring, the IISE president will send out information regarding the IISE e-board. It will contain information regarding job details of each position, as well as how to apply!

How does IISE help me once I graduate from USC?

​

Once you graduate your membership with IISE does not end. You can continue to use it as a resource. You receive invitations to IISE conferences, events, and training sessions. You also gain access to exclusive publications and presentations. All things that will continue to help you in your career advancement!
